STAFF

Glen Johnson, Pastor

In 2005 we welcomed Glen and Susie to our church body. They brought many years of ministry involvement, including twelve years as missionaries in Brasilia, Brasil. Glen and Susie work together as a team. They love to connect with people who are grappling with tough issues and discovering that loving God integrates every aspect of life. They enjoy relating with people….long walks, inviting people to their home for meals, heart-to-heart talks, Bible studies, coffee, teasing and movies.

Nancy Kirtley, Office Manager

Nancy Kirtley grew up in the Redmond area. She and her family moved to Carnation in 1996. Nancy’s husband, Bob, is a rehabilitation counselor at Echo Glen Children Center in Snoqualmie. He has been there for over 18 years. They have two boys, Kai and Campbell. Nancy joined our staff in September of 2004. Her strong love for people and desire to keep things organized, as well as her talent for graphic design, make her a great asset as she manages the church office.

Nancy Rohr, Preschool Director

With a heart for ministering to children, Nancy envisioned starting a preschool as a service to the families of our community. After much prayer and planning, that vision became a reality in September 2003 with the opening of Carnation Christian Preschool. Nancy has been working with children in volunteer positions for over 30 years, and in staff positions for the past 15 years. She is a graduate of Multnomah Bible College and also has a B.A. in Educational Ministry from Seattle Pacific University. Nancy, and her husband Ron, have attended Carnation Bible Church since moving to the valley in 1991. Their two daughters are now grown, which gives them more time for their favorite pastimes of gardening and reading.

Simon Sandusky, Youth Leader

Simon has a heart for youth ministry and wishes to use Carnation Bible Church as a beginning for each youth in the community.  He grew up going to Bothell High School and graduated from Seattle Pacific University with a degree in Educational Ministry.  He loves to hang out with the youth and build friendships that last a lifetime.  "I believe that Youth Ministry is one of the keys in the Church, if the next generation is going to succeed as believers in Christ."
